Leaving Venice

We were on the first BA plane out to Venice. All fine, no delays. Luggage was soon off and we got a taxi to the cruise terminal. Check in was quick and painless and we were on the ship, the Celebrity Silhouette 20 mins later.

This is the first time for a long time we have been on this cruise line and first impressions is that this is more like a 4 star hotel than a ship!

Leaving Venice was fantastic. Beautiful weather and amazing that these monster ships can get so close to hundreds of years of history.
