Buried as a witch with a cage….so

This is a different one! Yesterday went to take some pictures for a new shop by the River Thames which was interesting and I'll post some more shots tomorrow.

But in addition there was a church featured in one of the UK's spookiest/haunted places. So went and had a look!

A young girl at the age of 15 was declared a witch and the local community were so worried that she would come back to haunt her that after burial they built a cage so she couldn't get out!

We human-beings are a weird bunch.
