Well today we went on a tour. We got the tender ashore and then were taken by coach to Elounda where we then walked for an hour along the coast past the old salt plains and windmills. Sky was blue and it was very warm.
After the walk which ended in Elounda we got a boat to Spinalonga Island which was the home of the last leper colony in Europe. Absolutely fascinating as I remember reading a book that was based on the colony years ago. We spent an hour there before getting the boat back to Elounda and bus back to get the tender.
