We got up today at 615 as our trip was leaving at 715 to go to the Acropolis and we stupidly assumed as we were leaving that early we would go straight there. Wrong! We took a slow coach drive around Athens at about 20mph then a slow walk from where the coach dropped us to the Acropolis listening to a guide saying the same thing over and over again……we found out why after we got cross our tickets were not until 10am. We were so angry as had we known we would have taken ourselves to the acropolis as when we went in it was absolutely packed. You could hardly move and taking any photos without people in was a real challenge.
We obviously got back to the ship and complained and they are refunding the trip. In the afternoon we sat reading and then had dinner in Solis before we went to the casino as they have given us money to gamble with as we could not gamble for two weeks due to the high roller being on board.
