Gozo

 Today was another tender and we had decided to go on a walking tour of Victoria. The driver took us through viallages and explained that the maltese had left and gone to the USA and Australia after the war and that was reflected by the names of houses.

Victoria was a small town and we went to the castle and walked around that and the museum. Inside the cathedral there is no dome so an artist in the 1700s painted the ceiling to look like there was one. I will try and upload the photos either later or when I get home.

We left Gozo to sail to Valletta which was a lovely sail in at 530pm.

Interesting day. Then we went to The Retreat, played trivia as the two of us and WON. In the evening we had dinner with Thierry Tholan the hotel director who we had not met before. Then it was dance party outside and we are overnight in Valletta.

We sailed across to Valletta and the sail in was lovely as we sat at the front of deck 7. Planned a long walk tomorrow round the town.
