Our day at sea was lovely the weather was gorious not too hot. We had the fun fair on deck trivia which we won, name tht tune. In the evening we had Corlea the South Safrican singer with an amazing voice.
Amsterdam
The only time i have been to Holland is landing at the airport!! Weather forecast 36degrees. We left the ship just after 9am and walked to Anne Franks House. Here we had booked a talk and tour and it was a very educational and thought provi=oking experience. Luckily the Annex where they lived was air conditioned. Whenwe left there the heat was turned right up. We walked around eventually to Dam Square where we met Maciek and NIck then walked to a bar by the canal for a well earned beer!
Amsterdam is a lovey city and would certainly come again to spend more time here.
We then walked the 40 minutes back to the ship. We just got on when i got a call from Yolande and Johan, friends from a past voyage, who were in the terminal hoping to catch us. So we went out and chatted to them for an hour which was great.
That was the last port of call for most guests on borad ony 66 of us are staying on for the next voyage!
