We tendered into Fishguard and were given a wonderful welcome by the local people just as we had before when we came here. We got the shuttle into town and went to the Tapestry that was made in 1997 to commemorate the French landing in Fishguard and the battle that followed.
Absolutely beautiful tapestry as you can see below such detail and the story that goes with it is wonderful reading.
Then we went for a walk to Lower Fishguard and watched the world go by before heading back up the hill to get the shuttle back to the ship.
