The weather for the day at sea was poor. However we had trivia and name that tune as well as a matinee concert by Dominic Ferris who is such a talented pianist.
Arrival in Leith was on time and the sun was shining. We got the tram into Edinburgh and wandered around, even going in the National Gallery which had amazing paintings inside including The MOnarch of the Glen, until it was time to go to Marys Close which is a tour on the undergound streets as Edinburgh used to be. Not allowed to take photos inside and the stories they tod were fascinating; actors were good.
We then climbed up Calton Hill which had tremendous iews of the city and our ship 2 miles away. Sat watching the world for a while then came back on the tram to the ship.
Sat outside readin in the glorious weather.
