Cannes France

 A cloudy day today and tender into the town of Cannes for a wander using GPS my city again.

So we walked up to the old town and found a lovely old church and view point. We found the tower where the man in the iron mask was held although it was apparently a velvet mask not an iron one. We then wandered the lovely alleys down steps to the old streets and market. The market looked lovely.

Then it was a walk through the town past the usual shops and high end boutiques. Lots of beautiful people as you would expect and amazing cars. We walked about five miles but decide it was not somewhere we would want to come back to! Walking along the fron all the private beaches covered with umbrellas no sand in sight! We preferred the one by the jetty that had sand and real people on.

An interesting day  and for supper we had ribs for the last time.
