This morning we found an island called HIVA Oa. Unfortunately the easterly wind meant that after a lot of debate on the bridge the safety officer decided that it was not safe for us to go ashore. We all thought it looked fine to us but what do we know!
So in the end the Captain decided we would do scenic cruising round the island for the rest of the day. Lovely breeze and super weather.
Such a shame but never mind!
