So today we were getting a tender to the port. Our trip was not until noon so as the weather was bad we stayed on the ship….and were very glad we did as at just before 11 they announced that they were going to stop the tender and dock the ship. So Keith and I sat in our room watching us reverse down into the dock at Heimay.
The skill to do this as we were so close to the huge cliffs it was remarkable. Will try and get the photos but they are being difficult to download.
We then went on our tour which basically consisted of us being taken to see the puffins and then to the museum they have built regarding the construction of the homes after the volcano erupted in 1973. Very interesting photos not downloaded of puffins yet so check back for these
