So after our long day on the Icefield Parkway today we were driving on to Revelstoke. However before we started we decided to do the Golden Rotary Trail. We drove into town and walked along the river to the confluence with another river one was the Columbia River I can’t remember the name of the other. Back into town had a great coffee and cookie in a lovely new coffee shop….which did not seem to belong in this strange town!
Then we drove to Revelstoke stopping en route at Rogers Pass the Rock Garden
When we got to Kamloops we went to the Railway Museum which was very interesting and we then got excited as a train came right by. Keith timed it and I counted the carriages 159 plus a front engine and a back engine….seven minutes to travel. In the evening we went to a local restaurant for supper.
